1] AMBER FORT- Amber fort also known as Amer fort is situated in Amer town, which is at a distance of 11km from Jaipur city. Amer fort is situated on the top of Aravalli hills. ‘Amer’ name has been derived from the Ambikeshwar Temple, built on the top of Aravalli hills, above Cheela ka teela (hills of eagles).It is one of the best places to visit in Jodhpur.
Amer fort was originally built by Raja Mann singh and then expanded by Jai singh in early 1600’s. This fort is known as one of the most enchanting architectural masterpieces. It is built with Red sandstone and marbles.Fort overlooks Moata lake which is the main source of water for the Amer fort. It has been built with Rajputi architecture but does have some influence from Mugal architecture. Fort is divided into 4 sections and each of them have their own courtyards, which are
– Jaleb chowk.
– Diwan-e-aam or Hall of public audience.
– Sukh mahal (private headquarters of the royal family.)
– Fourth courtyard.(where queens used to reside and Maharaja used to meet them here.) 
        The fort also has Sila devi temple which is the Goddess of chaitanya cult. Raja Mann Singh had 12 queens and each of them had their own room, hence there were 12 rooms and all rooms had stairs connected to the king’s room.
Amer fort is declared as UNESCO world heritage site as a part of group hill fort of Rajasthan.

2] JANTAR MANTAR-
Jantar mantar was built by the founder of Jaipur city, Rajput Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is a collection of 20 astronomical instruments.They are eloquent masonry representations of well-known instruments, many of which also have unique qualities of their own. It has the world’s largest stone Sundial.
‘Jantar’ derives from a sanskrit word ‘yantra’ which means ‘instrument/machine’ and ‘mantra’ is a sanskrit word meaning ‘consult/calculate’. Hence, Jantar Mantar means ‘Calculating device or instrument. It is built from local stone and marbles.This place has been used in many movies and photoshoots, one of which is THE FALL as a MAZE.

3] HAWA MAHAL– The “Palace of Winds,” also known as Hawa Mahal, is a famous piece of Rajasthani architecture.It is one of the best  jaipur sightseeing and one of the major jaipur attractions.  This five-story pink sandstone palace, constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is a fine example of Rajputana design. 4] SHEESH MAHAL– Sheesh Mahal, which is a component of the greater Amer Fort, was built in the 16th century by Maharaja Man Singh I. A stunning exhibition of hundreds of tiny, handcrafted mirrors, complex glass mosaics, and vibrant glass art adorns the entire castle. It is one of the best places to visit in jaipur.
